Imperial Primer is one of the new Technical paints introduced by Games Workshop this March, it is a hand brushes primer. The paint contains high concentration of pigment.
One thing I've recover from practice is, the Imperial Primer can be layers on metallic surface, it works like shade that it can tint down the metallic, but also covering the surface more even than shades.
